(lagrangenews.com) — Troup County commissioners have approved a $3.07 million bid to build Fire Station 15 in the county’s southern area, improving coverage for LaGrange-area residents. The three-bay station near Burkes Chapel and Whitesville roads should open late next year, expanding emergency response and likely lowering many nearby homeowners’ insurance-related ISO ratings.
