Leaders say the projects will modernize labs, elevators, and security while boosting the Medical District and strengthening Tennessee's healthcare training pipeline.
   

2. Southwest Tenn. Community College launches workforce development program (actionnews5.com) — Southwest Tennessee Community College is rolling out a new workforce development push in Memphis, tying classroom learning to real job pathways as fall semester begins. With a fresh five-year "Pathways to Prosperity 3.0" plan and a partnership with the City of Memphis, the college aims to prepare local teens and adults for in-demand industries.
