2. The History They Left Out (newschannel5.com) — Nashville's new Davidson County Historian, Dr. Learotha Williams Jr. of TSU, is focusing on preserving the full story of the city, especially African American experiences often left out. 3. Hurricane Isaias prompts Nashville fall break travelers to change plans and leave early this weekend (newschannel5.com) — Hurricane Isaias could disrupt flights in and out of Nashville International Airport this weekend, prompting some fall break travelers to leave a day early. 4. Middle Tennessee Electric linemen head to Alabama as Hurricane Isaias makes landfall (wkrn.com) — From Nashville, Middle Tennessee Electric is sending about 20 volunteer linemen to South Alabama to help restore power after Hurricane Isaias makes landfall. Crews will work in small teams for potentially several weeks, tackling downed trees, flooding, and broken poles, while local leaders ask Tennesseans to keep these workers in their thoughts as they assist hard-hit communities.
