But still. It's still something.

If you hit the $6.75 million jackpot on Wednesday and choose to take the cash payout, it is estimated at $4.75 million.

You can look for the winning numbers on your local newscast, as most (if not all) news channels feature them either live or in a crawl infographic below the screen. The drawing is done just after 10 p.m. on drawing days, but newscasts use their own discretion in displaying the numbers, some doing it at the drawing's outset and others toward the end in a clever way of keeping you tuned to their station if only to get the lottery results (because ratings).

If you choose to watch the drawing at your own leisure and/or stick it to the ratings man, you can view the Texas Lotto webcast. You also can check results at the Texas Lotto website, accessible by clicking here.

Since 1992, the Texas Lottery has generated more than $26 billion in revenue, lottery officials said. The money raised benefits Texas, including in the areas of education, veterans' services and other state programs. Officials said the Texas Lottery has contributed $20 billion to the Foundation School Fund over the game's two-decade history, including $1.373 billion in FY 2016 — the single largest annual contribution to date, lottery officials said.

Lottery officials also like to tout the amount of money raised from the game benefiting veterans services. In 2009, legislation was passed directing the Texas Lottery to offer a scratch ticket game benefiting the Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans' Assistance (FVA). Since that time, the Texas Lottery has contributed more than $81 million for veterans programs, officials said.
