California Wildfire Forces Evacuations, Shuts Down Highway
A wildfire near Big Sur on California's central coast that started Friday reached the iconic Bixby Bridge on Highway 1 on Sunday, and authorities urged hundreds of residents in the sparsely populated area to evacuate. Exotic Snake Collection Found With Dead Man In Maryland House
Over 100 snakes were found alongside a deceased man in his Maryland home earlier this week. The collection included both non-venomous and venomous snakes, some of which are illegal to own in Maryland, and featured pythons, rattlesnakes, cobras and even black mambas. Rams End Buccaneers' Repeat Hopes On Last-Second Field Goal

Houston Deputy Killed In Patrol Car During Traffic Stop
A Harris County Precinct 5 deputy was shot and killed in his patrol car during a traffic stop early Sunday.
