Brown Act Violation Claim On Sonoma City Council Agenda
City leaders will consider legal claims over public access, ADA accommodations, and hear Berkeley students Wednesday.

I am an award-winning journalist dedicated to keeping local communities informed and engaged.
Before joining Patch as a local editor for the North and East Bay, I was a staff reporter for The Oakland Tribune. I covered a wide range of agencies, issues, and events, but was best known for the Night Owl column, a blend of nightlife and business reporting. As a freelance reporter, I wrote for a variety of outlets, both national and international.
Between the two news outlets, I completed a doctorate in Communications at the Columbia University School of Journalism, followed by a fellowship at the CELSA-Sorbonne Université in France focused on data regulation and privacy.
Today, I cover Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Walnut Creek, and Concord. You can usually find me in any one of those towns at a city hall, library, café, or farmer’s market. Otherwise, I'm sailing or working on my boat, Grace O’Malley. Stay in touch! @angelawoodall
