Hold Fast to Dreams explores the poetry of Langston Hughes.&nbsp; It is a performance piece on the importance of living your dreams and the dangers of dreams deferred.
This exploration will be led by actor, storyteller, and poet Darius Wallace. His performance will include the dynamic poems of Langston Hughes as characters, songs, and audience interaction that are designed to leave an inspirational impression on viewers.
Live music performed by Derwin Daniels.

On the day of a much-anticipated speech by Rosa Parks during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, four activists working in a Virginia civil rights office wonder whether the proclamation of equality amongst mankind includes women. With remarkable insight and unexpected humor, Cadillac Crew reclaims the stories of the forgotten leaders who blazed the trail for desegregation and women’s rights and asks: when will the world be ready to embrace women in all their capacities?

CRCA is pleased to be the World Premiere location for the new play, The Last Gift.&nbsp; This is a wonderful story that takes place in a nursing home, and about the magic that a young child brings to a crotchety old man. It is written by Earnest Lewis, the Atlanta playwright who wrote The Boy Who Brought His Mind To Life. He is also a celebrated author of many children’s books. It includes themes of elder care, adoption, loneliness, and, of course, the importance of family. It takes place around the Christmas holidays, so it is a wonderful story for the entire family. It is filled with humor, love, and compassion.
