• Concord Volunteer Fire Department invests in new tech for emergency vehicle alerts (wfxrtv.com) — Drivers in Appomattox and Campbell County will start getting digital alerts on their navigation apps when Concord Volunteer Fire Department trucks are approaching or working a scene. After testing the HAAS Alert Safety Cloud, the department voted May 11 to install it on two heavily used units, aiming to cut close calls and improve safety on local highways.
