• Lynchburg District Weekly Traffic Alert April 27-May 3, 2026 (virginia.gov) — Expect significant changes if you drive the Route 460 Appomattox Bypass next week, with westbound traffic down to one lane, a 45 mph speed limit, and automated speed enforcement cameras active through the work zone. This VDOT district update also outlines other long-term projects nearby, but Appomattox drivers should especially plan for slower travel and stricter enforcement on 460 through at least December 2026.
