• Concord Volunteer Fire Department invests in new tech for emergency vehicle alerts (wfxrtv.com) — Concord Volunteer Fire Department is equipping Rescue 13 and Engine 13-1 with HAAS Alert Safety Cloud, a system that sends digital warnings to drivers as emergency vehicles approach or work at crash scenes. After testing it for months, the department voted May 11 to invest in the technology, aiming to cut close calls on local highways and boost safety for both firefighters and motorists.
