ARLINGTON, VA — Last month, Arlington County Police confirmed they were investigating two peeping incidents in the Long Branch Creek neighborhood as a possible series. Another peeping incident occurred in that neighborhood Tuesday night, according to the daily crime report.

Around 10:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of S. Veitch St., for the report of a suspicious person. They learned from the victim that she had observed a man outside the door to her residence from a gated balcony area. When she opened the door, the man fled on foot.

Police described the man as standing 6-foot tall with an athletic build, weighing 180-200 pounds. He was wearing an orange hoodie with the hood up.

"This case will be assigned to our Special Victims Unit and, as part of their investigation, will work to determine if the incident is linked to any other cases reported in the area," said Ashley Savage, ACPD public information officer, in an email.

This is not the first report of peeping in the Long Branch Creek area. A woman reported seeing a hooded man outside of her window around 11:47 p.m., on March 2, in the same block as Tuesday night's peeping incident.
