Post Critic Names Arlington Restaurant to Top 10 in the DC Area
Ambar in Clarendon was selected on Tom Sietsema's list of the top 10 new restaurants in Washington.

ARLINGTON, VA — A Clarendon eatery is getting some recognition from the Washington Post's resident critic. Tom Sietsema has released his list of the top 10 new restaurants in the D.C. area, and Ambar is on it.
Ambar, which serves Balkan cuisine at 2901 Wilson Boulevard, was ranked 5th overall.
"The Arlington spinoff of the Balkan restaurant on Capitol Hill is charming enough to stand on its own merits," Sietsema wrote. "Witness the obliging service and attractive decor featuring photos from Belgrade, Serbia, where there's another branch. Of course, the food, from the rich veal soup to the dips and stuffed cabbage, is reason enough to become a regular."
