Traffic Advisory: 2015 Arlington Police and Fire Memorial 9/11 5K Saturday
Event takes place Saturday, remembering those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, including plane that struck Pentagon.

The Arlington County Police Department will close several streets around the Pentagon and in Crystal City on Saturday for the Arlington Police & Fire Memorial 9/11 5K race.
In the past 13 years, since its inception, the Arlington Police, Fire & Sheriff 9/11 Memorial Race has had over 29,000 runners cross its finish line and has raised more than $475,000 for 9/11-related charities.
This year the Arlington Police, Fire & Sheriff 9/11 Memorial Race will donate all funds to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (http://www.taps.org/), the National Fire Fighters Foundation (http://www.firehero.org/) and Concerns for Police Survivors (http://www.nationalcops.org/). Each of these charities support the families of fallen public safety officers and our Armed Services.
