After the collision, the dump truck continued to move, dragging a portion of the fence behind it, police said. The vehicle was located, and police initiated a traffic stop.
But the driver kept the dump truck moving without stopping, pulling along the fence. Along the way, the fence damaged several mailboxes, road work signs and utility meters for a traffic signal before the driver finally stopped in the 24400 block of Gum Spring Road, according to the police report.
D’Gracia was being held on a $2,500 bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center in Leesburg, police said.
