ALDIE, VA — Authorities are looking for an unknown woman who was looking at the inside of a home through the front windows Monday in the 40800 block of Hayrake Place, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. She was described as wearing black pants and a white shirt with a dotted design. She left the area in a dark minivan.
Around 12:30 p.m., a resident told police an unknown woman was outsider the home and appeared to be peering through the front windows. Suspicious strangers engaging in suspicious behavior have been reported numerous times in Loudoun County the past several weeks, and several of them have been described as a woman but not all.
Last week in Sterling, for example, a suspicious man was spotted hanging around a school bus stop. He later is said to have put his hand on a child's head. This past Thursday, police found two suspicious strangers, a man and a woman, lurking on the grounds at Legacy Elementary School in Sterling. Such occurrences are on the uptick, and a growing number of such incidents are being reported. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-0407.
