• Blue Highway Fest Announces Full 2026 Daily Schedule (gratefulweb.com) — Big Stone Gap is gearing up to host the 2026 Blue Highway Fest October 8–11, with a full daily schedule now set so you can plan your weekend. The festival will bring major bluegrass names, a Stanley Brothers celebration, a fan-voted Blue Highway set, and a Sunday gospel showcase, all supported by the town and regional partners. 
• Amazon packages in Big Stone Gap being delivered to old federal building (wjhl.com) — If you're missing an Amazon delivery in Big Stone Gap, it may be sitting at the old federal building instead of your home. Residents report packages marked "delivered" but never received, as some shipments still go to the former post office site despite its move to Shawnee Avenue.
• Traveling Staff Office Hours Schedule (house.gov) — Congressman Morgan Griffith's staff will hold traveling office hours in Big Stone Gap on September 9 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Municipal Complex on Wood Avenue. Residents can bring federal agency questions or concerns locally instead of traveling to his main district offices.
