• Staunton District Traffic Alert for September 28 – October 2, 2026 (virginia.gov) — Drivers in Stanley should expect flagger-controlled traffic on Route 340 Business (West Main Street) between the western town limits and Park Road from September 28 through October 8 for utility pole work. This is part of a wider set of VDOT maintenance and construction projects across Page County and the Staunton District that may cause lane closures, detours, and slower travel times on major routes.
