• Swim advisory issued for Cape Charles beach (easternshorepost.com) — Health officials have issued a swim advisory for the Cape Charles public beach after recent tests found bacteria levels above state standards, increasing the risk of gastrointestinal illness. Signs are posted advising against swimming until further notice while the Northampton County Health Department continues daily testing and will lift the warning once the water is deemed safe again.
