• Man identified in deadly weekend fire in Northampton (shoredailynews.com) — Cape Charles volunteer firefighters were among several local departments responding to a deadly house fire and explosion on Dunton Cove Road in the Capeville area last weekend, where a 69-year-old man was found deceased. Investigators, including Virginia State Police and the medical examiner’s office, are still working to determine the cause and are asking anyone with information to contact the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office.
