• If redistricting is approved, big changes in store for Historic Triangle (pilotonline.com) — Poquoson would be grouped with Newport News and Hampton in the 3rd Congressional District if Virginia’s new redistricting plan survives a Supreme Court challenge, shifting its federal representation. The plan would also reassign much of the Historic Triangle into the 4th and 8th districts, potentially pitting current officeholders against new communities and altering who speaks for nearby localities in Congress.
