• Dorothy B. Stamper (farmvilleherald.com) — Longtime Crewe Primary School teacher’s aide and Crewe-Burkeville Lions Club member Dorothy B. Stamper has died at 89, leaving a legacy of service to local children and her church community. Services will be held in Williamsburg and Amelia on May 3 and 5, with donations suggested to the Alzheimer Society or a preferred charity.
