• Store employee charged with setting Family Dollar fire (kenbridgevictoriadispatch.com) — Kenbridge Volunteer Fire Department was among five departments called to help battle a July 4 fire that heavily damaged the Family Dollar store in nearby Blackstone. Police say security footage led them to charge an 18-year-old store employee with arson and property destruction after he allegedly used a lighter to ignite paper products on a rear shelf.
