• Fifty-nine Virginia counties designated natural disaster areas; eligible for assistance (pagevalleynews.com) — Lunenburg County farmers are now eligible for federal emergency loans after recent drought conditions, alongside 58 other Virginia localities. These USDA Farm Service Agency loans can help replace equipment or livestock, reorganize operations, or refinance certain debts, and residents are urged to contact their local USDA Service Center or visit farmers.gov to explore options.
