Grime In Ice Machine: Del Ray Restaurant Inspections

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The City of Alexandria regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in July. Among the violations were a buildup of grime in an ice machine at Los Tios Grille. But other restaurants made comebacks. Jerry Chan's, which had signs of rodent droppings in June, has no violations in a follow up.
