More Rodent Droppings: Del Ray Restaurant Violations

Inspectors found another Del Ray restaurant with rodent droppings during June inspections.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The City of Alexandria regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations in Del Ray from recent inspections in late June. Among the violations are rodent droppings at Jerry Chan's Restaurant. The violation will be checked at a follow-up visit. Earlier in June, rodent droppings were also found at Rosemarino d'Italia.
