Juvenile Charged In Arlandria Shooting: Police
A juvenile is accused in the shooting of another juvenile on Oct. 10, according to Alexandria Police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police have made an arrest in the Oct. 10 shooting of a juvenile in the Arlandria neighborhood.
On Friday, officers arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile. He was charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a juvenile. The juvenile is being held at the Northern Virginia Juvenile Detention Center.
The shooting in the 500 block of Four Mile Road in Arlandria was one of two in Alexandria on Oct. 10. Police found a juvenile male victim with an upper body gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect had fled before police arrived.

Principal Peter Balas had confirmed in a message to families that the victim is an Alexandria High School student.
The other shooting at the Lloyd Apartments in the 3800 block of Cameron Mills Road resulted in an arrest and charges. The adult victim in that shooting had non-life-threatening injuries.
