Paint A DASH Bus For Cancer Awareness At Art On The Avenue
Those affected by cancer will have a special portion of the bus to paint at the Del Ray festival.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—As part of Del Ray's Art on the Avenue festival on Oct. 6, DASH will offer up its Celebration Bus to decorate in honor of those affected by cancer. The bus will be at Madison Day School (722 N Henry Street) from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
In partnership with the Association of Alexandria Radiologists, DASH is inviting community members to add their handprints to the Celebration Bus. A special area will be set aside for handprints of those affected by cancer.
Art on the Avenue will take place along Mount Vernon Avenue from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Oct. 6. The event includes displays from more than 300 artists, multiple music stages, food and more activities.
