Police Investigate Attempted Robbery on Commonwealth Avenue
Police were in the area Wednesday afternoon investigating the incident.
The Alexandria Police Department investigated an attempted robbery Wednesday afternoon in the 3700 block of Commonwealth Avenue in Alexandria, according to an alert from police that went out at about 3:15 p.m..
Police say the suspect displayed a knife. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
