FAIRFAX, VA — One person was injured in a house fire that occurred Saturday morning in the Merrifield area, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.

FCFRD reported around 9:17 a.m., that the fire was extinguished at a single-family home in the 2900 block of Fairhill Road.

One civilian was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No firefighters were reported injured.
