$10M Gift For Inova Expansion Donated By DC Investor: Report
A D.C investor is donating $10 million to the Inova Health System to help pay for "critical programs and urgent needs."

FAIRFAX, VA — Win Sheridan, co-founder of Richmond consulting firm Apex Systems Inc., has pledged to donate $10 million to the Inova Health System to help pay for “critical programs and urgent needs," according to a Washington Business Journal report.
The D.C.-venture capitalist's donation to Inova's Critical Needs fund was made in response to a challenge made by NVR Inc. founder Dwight Schar and his wife Martha for the hospital system to match the couple's gift of $75 million, according to WBJ's reporting.
“Gifts like Win’s help inspire and galvanize fellow supporters within the community, and we are grateful for this leadership," Sage Bolte, chief philanthropy officer and president of the Inova Health Foundation, told WBJ's Sara Gilgore.
