FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax police recently charged two men in two separate incidents for being drunk in public and assault police officers, according to the daily crime report.

In the first case, officers were called around 4:15 a.m., on Friday to INOVA Emergency at 4315 Chain Bridge Road for the report of a disorderly man. With the help of security staff, officers placed 35-year-old Kevin Senn of Burke under arrest.

Officers found 36-year-old Jason Hann of no fixed address nearby and intoxicated, according the report. As they attempted to detain Hann, he got angry and swung his arms in the air, hitting on of the officers.

After police took Hann into custody, he was medically evaluated for minor wounds he'd received in a separate incident and then taken to the Adult Detention Center. Once there, police cited him for assault and battery on a police officer, petit larceny, and being drunk in public. Hann was then held without bond.
