2 Charged In Robbery At Knifepoint On Fairfax Boulevard: Police
A city police officer apprehended two people wanted on robbery warrants from February after seeing them in a car within city limits.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax police charged two people in connection with a February robbery at knifepoint that occurred on Fairfax Boulevard, according to a police release.
On Feb. 19, a juvenile assaulted the victim near 10030 Fairfax Blvd. and took their cellphone, according to police. During the confrontation, an adult pointed a knife at the victim.
After determining the victim knew both people who assaulted and robbed them, police obtained a felony robbery warrant against the adult and a detention order for the juvenile. Police were unable to locate either of the suspects at that time.

An officer patrolling the 10300 block of Layton Hall Drive on Aug. 11 recognized two people in a vehicle as those wanted by city police for the February robbery.
Police served the robbery warrants on 19-year-old Ever Josue Claros-Vasquez of Fairfax and a juvenile. Claros-Vasquez is being held without bond.
