2 Injured When Car Crashes Into Ice Rink At Rockville Town Center

Two people were taken to the hospital after the car they were traveling in crashed into the Rockville Town Center ice rink on Saturday.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Rockville City Police reported that no skaters or pedestrians were injured on Saturday when a car crashed into the ice rink at Rockville Town Center, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.

The driver involved in the crash and a passenger were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The crash occurred around 5:23 p.m. near Maryland Avenue and Rockville Town Center.
