5 Fairfax Restaurants Nominated For 2024 RAMMY Awards

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announced finalists for the RAMMYs, the region's restaurant and food service awards.

FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax City-area restaurants are among the finalists for the 2024 RAMMYs, the regional restaurant and food service awards held by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW).

The annual awards honor the accomplishments of the DC region's restaurant and food service community.

Glory Days Grill, which has a restaurant in the PanAm Shopping Center on Nutley Street in Fairfax, was nominated in the Favorite Gathering Place category.

Colada Shop Cuban Cafe and Bar, which has a restaurant in the Mosaic District, was nominated in the Hottest Sandwich Spot category.

Kirby Club, which is also located in the Mosaic District, was named a finalist in the Casual Restaurant of the Year category.

Taco Bamba, which has location in University Mall to the south of Fairfax City and in Fair Lakes, was named a RAMMYS finalist in the Casual Restaurant of the Year category.

Nominated in the Favorite Fast Bites category, Andy's Pizza, has several restaurants in the DMV, including one that's scheduled to open later this summer on Fairfax Boulevard in Fairfax City.

Nearly half of the award categories will be open to a public vote. Voting ends at 5 p.m., on May 31, 2024.

Winners will be announced winners on Sunday, July 21, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. See the full list of 2024 RAMMY award finalists here.
