Abduction Arrest At Fairfax City Motel: Police Report
City of Fairfax Police arrested a Burke man Sunday in connection with an abduction at the Breezeway Motel on Fairfax Boulevard.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested a Burke man Sunday in connection with an abduction complaint at a city motel, according to a police release.
Police responded around 7:20 a.m., to the 10829 Fairfax Blvd., for an abduction complaint at the Breezeway Motel.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Solaymane Daryf, 19, 0f 10084 Applewood Court in Burke had invited an acquaintance to his room in the motel. After an extended period of time, Daryf refused to let the victim leave and brandished a firearm at the victim, according to police. Eventually, Daryf released the victim, who was allowed to leave the motel room on their own.

Officers attempted to make contact with Daryf but say he refused to follow their directions. With the help of officers from the Fairfax County Police Department, police were able to take Daryf into custody without incident.
City of Fairfax Police charged Daryf with abduction, brandishing a firearm, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Daryf is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
