Apartment Fire Extinguished East Of Fairfax City On Saturday Night
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue reported that no one was injured in an apartment fire Saturday night on the eastern border of Fairfax City.

FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue units extinguished an apartment fire early Saturday evening at Fairfax City's eastern border, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.
Fire crews were on the scene of the fire around 5:55 p.m., in the 3900 block of Persimmon Drive, according the tweet. Arriving units observed fire showing from the first floor of a three-story garden apartment.
The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported, according to a 7:48 p.m. Twitter post. Fire investigators remained on the scene to determine the cause of the blaze.
