Ashburn Woman Killed, Seven Injured In Loudoun County Crash
An Ashburn woman was killed and her four passengers seriously injured late Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Loudoun County.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — An Ashburn woman was killed and her four passengers seriously injured late Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Evergreen Mills Road near Leesburg, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The driver, Erin T. Kaplan, 39 died at the scene. An adult and three juveniles were flown to Inova Fairfac Hospital, with one juvenile in critical condition.
Shortly before 5 p.m., the driver of a 2000 Thomas bus that had been converted into a food truck was headed east on Watson Road before running a stop sign and slamming into a 2014 Audi station wagon that was headed north on Evergreen Mill Road. The driver of the food truck and two juvenile passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Charges are pending.
