From Quilts to Keepsakes opens with a 45-minute presentation by RB Textile Conservation exploring expert conservation strategies and a behind-the-scenes look at the preservation of Woodlawn’s own Quaker signature quilt.
To round out your experience, attendees are invited to apply these expert techniques to their own history. Bring a small- to medium-sized personal textile and learn museum-approved handling, folding, and packing methods. You will leave with the confidence and materials to safeguard your family heirlooms for generations!
