Child, 4, Left Unattended By Drunk Man in Ashburn: Police
A drunk man walking in the middle of the street in the middle of the morning left a 4-year-old unattended in Ashburn: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — A unsteady drunk man walking in the middle of the street mid-Tuesday morning was later found to have left a 4-year-old child unattended, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Sharod D. Spriggs, 38, of Ashburn, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and public intoxication. The child was released to the custody of a family member.
Around 10 a.m., police responded to the area of Ellsworth Terrace and Exchange Street for a report of male unsteady on his feet. Police found him and warned him about the danger of walking in the middle of the street and that he should go home until he is sober. A short time later, though, police spotted him walking along Exchange Street, where he was arrested.
