Chocolate Lovers Festival: Schedule, Taste of Chocolate, Challenge, and More
February's richest event continues Sunday. Here's all the info.

Before someone hands you sweets this Valentine’s Day, treat yourself to Fairfax City’s Chocolate Lovers Festival.
The two-day festival includes the Taste of Chocolate, the Chocolate Challenge, the Kiwanis Chocolate Chip Pancake Breakfast, a screening of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and more.
The festival hours are noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Some events are open to the public, others require a fee.

Old Town Hall, 3999 University Drive
Admission to Taste of Chocolate is free to view, in order to taste you must purchase Pogs, which can be traded for merchandise. Pogs are $1 each, and can be purchased with cash or credit card at Old Town Hall.
Vendors include C + D Sweets, Cakes by Shelby, Capitol Chocolate Fountains, Cameron’s Coffee and Chocolates, Chocotenago, Confection Connection, Dave’s Candy Kitchen, El Ceibo Chocolate, Extreme Ice Cream, Fair Trade Winds, Fluffy Thoughts Cakes, Mike’s Fudge, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Sugar Mama’s Ice Cream, The Chocolatier’s Palette, Virginia Chocolate Company, and Watergate Pastry.
Chocolate Challenge:
The Nutrition Kitchen, 3950 University Drive, Admission: $1 per adult
“A gallery of art, cakes and cupcakes made entirely of chocolate created by professionals and amateurs alike. Both judges and visitors will have an opportunity to judge the entries in numerous categories. Donated cakes and other items will be open for silent auction bidding.”
