Compass Coffee Serves Up Beverages At Its New Northfax Location On Fairfax Boulevard
Compass Coffee opened its new Fairfax City location in the Point 50 shopping center on Tuesday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Customers were already ordering drinks and sitting at tables with their laptops open Tuesday afternoon at the Compass Coffee in Fairfax City.
Tuesday was the first day the café was open for business at 10400 Fairfax Blvd. in the Point 50 shopping center. Customers will be able to order a variety of coffee and tea beverages, along with blended drinks and snacks for all ages.
City of Fairfax Mayor David Meyer said in a release that the city was happy to welcome Compass to Fairfax.

“Coffee shops do more than serve beverages – they are special places, where people meet to make friendships and share new ideas," he said. "They create a ‘third place’ outside of work and home. Compass Coffee at Point 50 in our Northfax activity center will bring people together as the city continues to support commercial development in this area. With the opening of Compass Coffee and other new businesses at this center, Point 50 will become a hub for social interaction and pedestrian activity.”
Compass Coffee opened its first location in Washington, D.C.'s Shaw District in 2014. Over the intervening seven years, the company has expanded to 12 locations across the region, with its café in Fairfax City becoming its 13th location.

The Fairfax City Compass Coffee is open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday. The cafe will be holding is official ribbon-cutting on April 9.
