Customer Punches Grocery Store Manager in Fairfax: Police

Fairfax Police arrested the man, who got into an argument with the manager at Shoppers Food Warehouse.

FAIRFAX, VA — A customer who punched a grocery store manger in the face last Thursday has been arrested for assault, according to Fairfax Police.

Joseph Michael Brown, of 80 South Van Dorn Street in Alexandria, was charged with assault and battery.

Shortly before 11:45 p.m., police say a manager at the Shoppers Food Warehouse at 9622 Main Street reported he became involved in an argument with a customer, who then socked him in the face and left the store.
