Donate Winter Coats In Providence District For Fairfax-Area Shelters

Providence District Office teams up with area community organizations to collect winter coats, hats and gloves to donate to local shelters.

FAIRFAX, VA — Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchik's office is teaming up with the Provide Community Center, Tysons Community Alliance, and local home owners associations to sponsor a winter coat drive.

Gently used winter coats, hats and gloves of all sizes can be dropped-off from Dec. 19 to Jan. 19, at the Providence Community Center, which is located at 3001 Vaden Drive in Fairfax. Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

All of the clothing collected during the winter coat drive will be donated to area shelters, including The Lamb Center in Fairfax City.
