Driver Asleep At The Wheel Arrested For DUI Drugs: Fairfax City Police
Fairfax City Police arrested a 30-year-old city resident, after they found him asleep behind the wheel of a car with its engine running.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA— A Fairfax City man, who was found asleep in the driver's seat of a running car late Wednesday night, was arrested for driving under the influence, according to the weekly crime report.
City of Fairfax Police officers responded around 11:24 p.m. on Wednesday for the report of a suspicious vehicle near Fairwoods Parkway and Mosby Woods Drive.
Officers determined that the driver, identified as 30-year-old Ahmed Assaad, was under the influence of narcotics.

After taking Assaad into custody, police transported him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with driving under the influence of drugs.
Assaad was held at the detention center until he was deemed sober, according to police.
