FAIRFAX CITY, VA — The driver of a passenger sedan that crashed through an empty storefront on Saturday night was unharmed, according to a City of Fairfax spokesman.

Due to a grade change from where the sedan entered the building, the vehicle came to rest about 10-15 feet below the store entry point, according to the city spokesman.
Fire and EMS personnel assessed the driver, who was the sedan's only occupant. The driver was not taken to the hospital for treatment. No one was in the storefront or injured due to the crash, authorities say.
