Drunk in Public Arrests in Two Incidents and More Police Reports
Officers were busy this St. Patrick's Day weekend, and more incidents reported by Fairfax City Police.

There’s hardly a busier weekend of the year when you’ll finds more revelers on the streets in celebration. So, it’s not surprising that there are more incidents of drunk in public.
Fairfax City Police report that they responded to a call at 12:12 a.m. Sunday in the 10700 block of West Drive. A woman reported that she had been struck in the face during an argument. The suspect, 31, was charged with misdemeanor assault and drunk in public. The victim declined medical treatment.

At 9:29 a.m., officers responded to the Rodeway Inn regarding two men acting suspicious near a work trailer. Police allegedly found the men to be “uncooperative” and discovered they had a hammer in their possession. One of the men attempted to flee on foot.
One of the men, 19, was charged with possession of burglarious tools, obstruction of justice and drunk in public. The other man, 20, was charged with possession of burglarious tools and providing false identification to law enforcement.

10401 Eaton Place / Henry’s Towing – On March 13 at 4:51 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime between February 20 and March 11 unknown person(s) had removed a stereo system from his vehicle which had been towed and was in the storage lot at the business.

3200 Block of Traveler Street – On March 14 at 10:34 AM the resident reported that sometime after 9:00 AM on March 12 unknown person(s) had rummaged through her unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway of the home and taken a booklet of coupons.

3700 Block of Tedrich Boulevard – On March 15 at 7:22 PM the vehicle owner reported that sometime after 8:00 AM on Match 13 unknown person(s) had removed the front license plate from his vehicle.

10473 Fairfax Boulevard / Denny’s Restaurant – On March 15 at 8:46 PM the victim reported that sometime after 6:30 PM unknown person(s) had stolen a key fob with two vehicle keys which she had left unattended on a table.
