“In a crowded field of worthy projects from throughout Northern Virginia, the competition for NVTA funding was stiff this year. I am very pleased that the City of Fairfax received this funding to help reduce traffic congestion for our residents. We will continue to pursue additional transportation funding in future years to invest in road improvements as well as sidewalk and trail connections,” said City of Fairfax Mayor David Meyer.
