Fairfax City Man Faces Charges After Pulling Knife
Incident occurred during fight on Sunday night with another resident, say Fairfax City police.

Fairfax City police arrested a local man Sunday night after he threatened another city resident with a knife during a fight, according to a police report.
At 10:50 p.m. Sunday, a resident in the 10800 block of Harvey Drive reported to city police that during an altercation with another resident, that person had threatened him with a knife, the police report said. The suspect then damaged or destroyed several items of property belonging to the victim.

Charles Wayne Brittain, 50, of 10818 Harvey Drive, was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, the police report said.
At the jail, he was charged with assault and battery and destruction of property, according to city police. His bond was set at $4,000; no court date was disclosed.
