Citing statistics shared by GMU President Gregory Washington, Read noted that 73 percent of Mason grades stay in the Fairfax City area.
" I've stayed in the area, Stephanie stayed the area," the mayor said. "She was born and raised in Fairfax County. This is really important to know that we want to keep our entrepreneurs. We want to keep our Mason grads. We want to encourage and support people to open businesses in our city."
