Fairfax High School Threatened On Twitter
Extra cops are at the school in case the threat is real.

FAIRFAX, VA — Fairfax High School is seeing enhanced police presence after school officials became aware of a recent social media threat to the school.
Fairfax County Public Schools sent out a tweet Thursday advising the community of the threat. They say the high school is the only school impacted by the threat.
Fairfax County Public Schools is aware of a recent social media threat directed towards Fairfax High School. Police are actively investigating and additional officers are at the school. No other FCPS schools or facilities are impacted.

The threat was posted anonymously on Twitter Wednesday afternoon. Principal Dave Goldfarb said "The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority."

The police department is continuing to investigate the threat with the assistance of FCPS safety and security, school administrators and other outside resources. The police department has and will continue to provide an extra presence at all city school facilities.
