FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A Fairfax man faces multiple charges in connection with a hit and run incident that happened last Wednesday night at the intersection of Main Street and Lee Highway within city limits, according to the weekly crime report.

City of Fairfax Police arrested 36-year-old Melchor Lopez-Perez around 10:05 p.m., after a person reported that a red pickup truck had struck their vehicle, causing significant damage. The driver then drove off. The victim declined medical treatment, according to the report.
