Fourth of July Holiday Schedule in Fairfax City

All City of Fairfax government offices will be closed on Friday in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Here’s more information about what’s open and what’s closed in the city:

Friday, July 3

• General District Court is closed
• CUE Bus — modified weekday service
• Refuse and recycling are not collected - Thursday and Friday routes are collected on Thursday, July 2

Saturday, July 4

• CUE Bus — no regular service
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Civil War Interpretive Center at Historic Blenheim is closed
